The Westin Cleveland Downtown

The lobby was beautiful! Hotel provides pretty views of Cleveland as well. The service was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was slightly dated, while the sink faucet only emitted hot water. Free parking was also not an option provided by the hotel. Have stayed in other Westin hotels. This was not the better of them, but it was still a good experience.

An affordable luxury! From the on-site valet parking to the check-in experience the start of my stay was seamless. Tim, at the front desk, was welcoming and masterful in handling two busloads of early arrivals and accompanying luggage. I was early and he politely told me he'd be glad to hold our luggage. We spent a little time at the Winking Lizard sports bar which is attached to the hotel. When we cam back at check-in time, it was a snap. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is clean, the shower was a large walk-in with great pressure. There are 23 floors and the view from the hotel shows a lot of the lakefront, including the GL Science Center and the Browns Stadium. Check out was a breeze. Ran into Tim again and he asked how our stay was. Getting the car back from the parking garage was easy. I'll go back to Westin Cleveland for sure.

To start, I paid $80/night, so it's difficult to complain about a hotel at that price point. You can tell this used to be a pretty nice hotel, but the rooms have certainly seen better days. Furniture is worn, TV is small and outdated, and while clean - the bed linens had visible damage. All of the staff go out of their way to interact with you and provide a welcoming experience, which I really appreciate. The restaurant off the main lobby serves great breakfast at a reasonable price. I didn't have a car on this trip, but I would have been very annoyed to pay the mandatory valet rates, almost $60/day is really very excessive especially considering this is Cleveland, not NYC or Chicago.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The hotel is clean, the trip from getting to your car in the parking garage into the main hotel is seamless because the elevator takes you right to the lobby. The hotel was over booked and didn't have the king size we booked so they gave us a double but the hotel made accommodations such as free dinner or breakfast voucher and a room with a nice view so we didnt mind the change. The staff was the most friendly staff I've ever encountered with the way they great ppl coming and going. Management was very friendly and accommodating and nobody was acting like they didn't want to be at work everyone seemed happy to be there working. The serving staff at breakfast was also very polite. The staff is diverse between age, race and cultures which is something I love to see when going to an American hotel. Location downtown is also great. Will definitely book again my next trip to Cleveland.

A little late, but I had a wonderful trip to Cleveland at this hotel during the last week of 2025. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were exceptionally pleasant; I never had a question go unanswered. I ate regularly at the Masa and Agave on site restaurant. So good. Even on game day (vs Steelers) they were attentive and thorough. I would like to recognize the staff: Sidney, William, Emma, Anthony, and Lauren were all great to me and made my meals more enjoyable. Sadly, Grandma passed a few weeks after I was able to see her one last time. She was 104.5! We were rooting for 105 in May. But I still have family there and will make this my go-to hotel when I return.

I love the Westin brand. Came here for work a few days ago and got the best sleep ever. Beds are so heavenly, it’s like sleeping in a cloud. Clean, upscale room. I also loved talking a scalding hot shower in the mosaic spa bath, so refreshing. I love Marriott!!

Check-in was smooth and asked for a walk in shower , got moved to a room with a walk in shower . Thought we had breakfast included in reservation but must have booked incorrectly but Dedo at the front desk came through with flying colors. Set us up with a deal for breakfast and was the most pleasant and helpful person. He was so kind to all and just has a very positive energy that shows he really cares about the people staying at the hotel and the employees! He is your gold star. If not in upper management he should be. Would definitely stay again.
